Built for Vaulters Who Want More Than Just Reps

Not every athlete shows up in the same place—and that’s the point. Whether you’re just getting started or already competing, this camp is designed to meet you where you are.

Some athletes are learning how to leave the ground for the first time.
Others are working toward better consistency, cleaner technique, and higher bars.

Both belong here.

This isn’t about just getting more jumps—it’s about improving how you move, approach the runway, and execute each phase of the vault.

Every session is coached with intent. Athletes get real feedback, make adjustments, and learn how to apply those changes from the runway to the bar.

What that leads to:

  • More efficient, repeatable technique
  • Greater consistency on the runway and in competition
  • Increased confidence attacking higher bars

It’s focused, intentional work—designed to carry forward long after camp ends.

A Structured Approach to Real Improvement

Each day is designed to balance instruction, repetition, and real-time coaching—so athletes can immediately apply what they’re learning.

Training isn’t random. Everything builds.

Athletes move through a progression that develops technique step-by-step, combining runway work with focused drills that directly carry over into better vaulting.

What a session looks like:

Body Control Through Aerial Positions

Timing and Rhythm

Approach Consistency

Plant and Takeoff Positions

How Athletes Will improve

Every part of camp is designed to improve the movements and skills that lead to better vaulting.

Athletes don’t just practice—they develop movements and habits they can carry into competition.

The goal isn’t just better jumps during camp—it’s lasting improvement athletes can build on.

Real Athletes. Real Progress.

What athletes learn here shows up when it matters.

Coaching That Drives Real Improvement

Improvement doesn’t happen by accident—it comes from how you’re coached.

This camp is led by Coach Tim Sullivan—former Division I pole vaulter and coach at WVU, Oklahoma, and Wake Forest.

Athletes are grouped by ability level, so everyone is coached where they are.

Beginners focus on building a strong foundation.
More experienced vaulters get the detailed feedback needed to keep progressing.

How athletes are coached:

Athletes aren’t just given drills—they’re coached through the details that actually move the needle:

  • Approach consistency
  • Takeoff position
  • Timing and rhythm
  • Body control through the jump

Tim’s experience at the collegiate level shapes how athletes are coached here: with clarity, purpose, and an understanding of what it takes to improve.

Each athlete receives clear, actionable feedback they can apply immediately—not just during camp, but when they return to training and competition.

For athletes who want to improve, that level of coaching makes a difference.

A Safe, Structured Environment to Improve

Pole vault can feel intimidating—especially for newer athletes.

That’s why this camp is built around clear progressions, consistent coaching, and an environment where athletes can learn without feeling overwhelmed.

Athletes are introduced to new skills at the right pace—building confidence first, then layering in complexity as they’re ready.

What that means for athletes:

  • Progressions are structured and intentional—not rushed
  • Equipment is set up and used with safety in mind
  • Coaching is hands-on and attentive throughout each session
  • Athletes are challenged—but never pushed beyond what they’re ready for

When athletes feel safe, supported, and challenged, they improve faster—and enjoy the process more.

A Smart First Step

Pole vault can be a big commitment—equipment, time, and training all add up quickly.

This camp gives your athlete the opportunity to learn the basics, build confidence, and decide if they enjoy the sport before making a bigger investment.

Some athletes move on. Others discover they love it.

Either way, you leave with clarity. So you can feel confident about what comes next.
